Now a days, cabling cost plays a major role in cctv camera installation work; if we plan properly, we can save a lot of money on cabling. We are currently discussing projects with more than 8 cameras; if more than 8 cameras are installed, we can plan for IP cameras. IP Camera is a better option for your future because we can reduce cabling length because we don’t need each device cable from recording unit to camera points, and secondly, if you want to expand your camera quantity, we don’t need to lay extra camera cable from recording unit to camera point because we can expand camera quantity by networks switch. Cat 6 cable technology has a bright future; however, if we use Coaxial cable technology, the camera’s technology is outdated, and we will be unable to upgrade the camera.
